Part of a "ham museum" mini-chain, the Gran Via location of Museo Del Jamón is a restaurant, medieval dining room, deli and bakery with an impressive array of hams hanging from the ceiling. Established in 1978, the museum/eatery serves ham, cheese, tapas and beef, chicken and fish as well as pig-centric dishes. The deli can vacuum pack hams and other pork products for tourists to take home through customs. The other museums with similar hours are on Calle Alcalá and Calle Atocha.
