El Bosque Encantado is an enchanted forest full of topiary sculptures that would delight Edward Scissorhands. Some of the top topiary artists in Europe have created leafy versions of giraffes, locomotives horse-drawn carriages and dragons. The garden contains over 500 plant species from around the world, labyrinths, and displays of bonsai, cactus and aromatics. Seventy-five kilometers (about 50 miles) from Madrid in the Sierra Oeste, it can be reached by autoroute and bus.
