The Madrid Zoo is located on 49 acres in Casa de Campo, the large forested park in Madrid. In addition to over 6,000 animals and more than 500 different species, the zoo has a petting zoo, a pyramid-shaped glass aquarium, an aviary and a dolphinarium. It is also an important animal breeding center for the giant panda, grey seal and the orangutan from Southeast Asia. The complex features restaurants and kiosks.
