Locally known as the MAMBA, the Buenos Aires Museum of Modern Art opened in 1956 and moved to its current San Telmo home in an former tobacco factory in 1986, with enough room for the collection of over 7,000 works of international and local art from the 1920s to the present. Admission free on Tuesdays.
