Galerias Pacifico sits at the intersection of Florida Street and Córdoba Avenue in a corner Beaux Art building, declared a national historic monument in 1989. Inside are plenty of high-end stores, as well the Jorge Luis Borges Cultural Centre and the Julio Bocca Dance Studio. Perhaps most impressive, however, is the large central cupola frescos by artists Lino Enea Spilimbergo, Antonio Berni, Juan Carlos Castagnino, Manuel Colmeiro, Demetrio Urruchúa, Romulo Maccio, Josefina Robirosa, Guillermo Roux and Carlos Alonso.
