At the end of Avenida de Mayo is the National Congress, a landmark building and home to Argentina's legislative bodies. Built in a neoclassical style, it features a 260-foot (80 m) dome, white marble interiors, Lola Mora-designed statues and the iconic 26-foot (8 m) high quadriga sculpture at the entrance. In front is the Congressional Plaza, a popular meeting point for both tourists and protesters.
