Bar da Cachaça is a friendly little dive bar in Lapa, very popular with locals at the start or end of the night. The crowd is very mixed and friendly and the selection of the cachaça diverse. Get there early to get a sidewalk front table, and note that the bathroom does not always get high marks for cleanliness.
