If Rio was ever to create a typical fast food chain to take over the world, it would look like Bibi Sucos. The thousands of fruits hanging from the ceiling are probably consumed in the freshly pressed juices in one day here by the hoards of thirsty customers. Forget the coke and chocolate milkshakes and welcome to a place where watermelon and ginger or beetroot and coconut water juices are served alongside avocado or banana and granola smoothies. To eat, try the picanha burger (a traditional, juicy Brazilian beef cut) served with a side of spinach, homus tahine or low fat white cheese. French fries are on the menu but who would dare, really?
