The Niterói Contemporary Art Museum, designed by Oscar Niemeyer, is a saucer-shaped modernist building on a cliff above the sea in the town of Niterói, accessed by an impressive bridge or ferry across the bay. Worth a visit if only to admire this architectural gem from the outside or the views to Sugarloaf and Corcovado.
