Monet, Picasso, Portinari, Rafael, Van Gogh and many more Western Art gems are displayed in the MASP permanent collection, most likely the finest collection of European art in Latin America. Occupying a landmark building right on Paulista Avenue opposite the Trianon Park, the sustained glass and concrete structure framed by imposing red beams, a symbol of Brazilian modernist architecture, is impossible to miss. The exhibitions, however, are in a large block underground.
