Specialized in Brazilian Art from the 19th century to the present, this majestic museum, and Brazil's oldest, also holds temporary exhibitions from around the world. Located in a beautiful brick, turn-of-the-20th-century building in Jardim la Luz, it houses around 9,000 pieces of art, including a set of 26 terracotta sculptures.
