El Tren de la Sabana with its steam and diesel engines is a heritage train that takes tourists on a trip to the past. The railway company, launched in 1889 to link cities around Bogota, was liquidated in 1991, but service on its northern line was preserved. Saturdays and Sundays it makes a round trip between the Sabana Train Station and Zipaquira with stops at Usaquen and Cajica Stations and activities along the way.
