The Banco de la República opened a permanent exhibition of 20th century Latin American and European art in 2004 on the second floor of a three-story "white box" designed by architect Enrique Triana Urbe, who won the Premio Nacional de Arquitectura for the building. Special exhibits are hosted on the third floor. Admission is free.
