The neoclassical Colon Theater - Colombia's national theater - dates from the 1890s and is the oldest standing opera house in South America. Renovated in 2014, it is a small jewel of 908 seats arranged in a traditional horseshoe-shape. Performances include opera, dance, concerts, theater and traditional Colombian music.
