La Angosta is a pocket-size beach on a small Pacific cove not far from La Quebrada of cliff-diver fame. It translates "Narrow Beach," so named because it's squeezed in between two high sandstone cliffs. Easily reached by bus or a 20-minute walk from the Zócalo, it's known for its calm waters and great sunsets. Often uncrowded, it's a good spot for a picnic or noshing at nearby palapa food huts. You can hike up the hillside to see the cliff divers perform at twilight.
