The gay-owned, adults-only Casa Alebrijes is a nine-room boutique B&B in a 19th century colonial home with 15-foot ceilings and traditional adobe walls, two feet thick. Its unique collection of Oaxacan carvings are on display around the central courtyard, which has its original fountain. The name and decor come from the magical paper maché figures created by the late Pedro Linares Lopez after they came to him in a dream in the 1930s. Casa Alebrijes is within easy walking distance of historical sites, restaurants and gay bars and clubs.

A very relaxing and colorful place, oriented to a very traditional Mexican theme. The place is quite comfortable and small, so there's not really a very LGBT feeling into it. It's owner is quite gentle.
