Founded in 1957, the spring-fed Los Camachos is one of the earliest water parks in the area and one of the most developed. It has pools of different depths, slides of various sizes, semi-tropical gardens and a children's area. Water temperature is around 73°F (23°C). Open 365 days a year, it is some 12 miles (20 km) north of the city center, and bus service is available.
