The neo-Gothic Templo Expiatorio del Santísimo Sacramento is a Catholic church dedicated to the Blessed Sacrament. Construction began in 1892 and wasn't completed until 1972. Its stone was carved using techniques from the Middle Ages. Unique in Mexico, it features a stained glass rosette on the facade designed by Maurice Rocher of Paris and a campanile in the tower of the 12 apostles, which rotates when music is played in the church.
