Opened in 2006 in an art deco building near the Paseo de la Reforma, the Museo de Arte Popular chronologically displays folk art from all around the country. Signage in Spanish and English details each item and relates it to the role it plays in Mexican culture. Handicrafts are sold in the museum shop. Admission is free on Sundays.
