The 43-room Blue Chairs Resort By the Sea was the first gay beachfront resort in town. Its blue beach chairs have given the nickname "blue chairs" to the gay section of the popular Los Meurtos Beach. Walking distance to clubs, bars and shops, it has its own social scene in the Blue Sunset Rooftop Bar with happy hour and nightly no-cover shows. The big weekend event is the International and Latin Divas Show Saturdays 8:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. All rooms have ocean views with king-sized beds available. The spa offers a sun burn treatment if you stay too long at the rooftop pool or in the blue beach chairs.
