Casa Kimberly, now a nine-suite boutique B&B, is where the Elizabeth Taylor-Richard Burton romance played out in their Puerto Vallarta days. Burton bought the house for Taylor in the early 1960s high up in Gringo Gulch where all the fancy foreigners hung out and built a replica of Venice's Bridge of Sighs to connect it to his own. The two properties make up Casa Kimberly, which is filled with reminders of the famous couple. The huge suites are named after Taylor's films with some having hot tubs on wraparound balconies overlooking the bay. The restaurant with its modern Mexican fare and nightly Mariachi music is named The Iguana after the film they made for John Huston that really put the resort on the international hot-spot map. No children under 17.
