Covering a city block, the Municipal Market Río Cuale is the city's main flea market with corridors of stalls offering just about everything, including Mexican sombreros, blankets and hammocks. Be sure to bargain. Start by offering a little more than half the asking price. Currency is the peso, but there's an ATM across Insurgentes Street. Upstairs you can get a "home-cooked" Mexican meal at small restaurants. On the north side of the river, the building has multiple entrances. Open 6 a.m. - 3 p.m.
