In the Hotel Zone 10 minutes from downtown, Playa de Oro - or Golden Beach - has rocks at each end, creating a little bay safe for swimming, parasailing and waterskiing. It can be reached by car, bus or taxi but is used mostly by guests of hotels along the stretch.
