Stretching two miles into the Pacific, the Amador Causeway connects the mainland in Balboa with four small islands. Amador has a cruise port, marina, conference center, restaurants, museums, a duty-free shop, handicraft centers and leisure activities like cycling and jogging. The newest attraction is the Frank Gehry-designed Bio Museum with its angular roof in bright primary colors. Bikes can be rented at three sites.
