The Canal Administration Building is perched high on the slope of Ancon hill above the marble Goethals Monument honoring the man who headed the U.S. canal construction. Its rotunda is decorated with canal-building scenes painted in 1914 by William B. Van Ingen, who created Library of Congress and U.S. Mint murals. Free admission 7:30 am to 4:15 pm weekdays.
