The Museo De Arte Contemporaneo is a privately owned collection of Panamanian and Latin American contemporary art on Avenida de los Martires at the bottom of Ancon Hill overlooking Casco Viejo. It often has outstanding special exhibits underwritten by embassies and corporations. Closed Mondays and national holidays, it opens at 9 a.m. other days and closes at 5 p.m. except Thursday when hours are extended to 9 p.m. Entry is $5 with free admission Sunday mornings.
