Founded in 2006 by Georgia W. Tush, Montréal Roller Derby (MTLRD) is the very first Roller Derby league in North America. Today, MTLRD comprises three home teams and two travel teams. Most of the action happens at the Aréna St-Louis on St-Dominique, with competitions on Saturday nights.
