Local Beauty

1
Head to Smiley's B&B, located on Algonquin Island, just a few minutes across the lake from downtown Toronto.
2
Go for a 20-minute hike across the island to Toronto Island Bicycle Rental and rent a bike. Bike around the island and take in the breathtaking views of Lake Ontario.
3
Stop for lunch at The Island Cafe for a home cooked meal made with locally grown vegetables and fruit from the farmers market.
4
After lunch take a short ferry ride across the lake to Harbourfront Canoe & Kayak Centre, rent a kayak, and explore the beautiful shoreline.
5
After a long day of outdoor activities, take the streetcar from the harbourfront up Spadina Avenue to Fresh, a vegetarian favorite featuring the freshest food Toronto has to offer.
6
Take the ferry back to the island and watch the sun set over Lake Ontario.
7
Go for an evening walk on the island before heading back to Smiley's for some rest and relaxation.
