A chill cafe with stoner leanings and a vapor lounge, the New Amsterdam doesn't actually sell marijuana, but it is smoker-friendly and has various creative paraphernalia for sale. While weed is technically illegal in British Columbia, the laws are lax enough that those in the know can indulge with impunity, or just enjoy the contact high and the surprisingly good cafe menu.
