The Capilano River Hatchery is part fish farm, part educational center devoted to the life cycle of the Coho salmon from hatchery to spawning stream. At the right time of year, visitors can catch salmon jumping up the river from the famous fish ladder, but the natural beauty makes it a popular stop in all seasons. Admission is free.
