A cornerstone of the local LGBTQ community, Little Sisters Book and Art Emporium has been in Davie Village since the early 1980s. While it does sell a number of gay-oriented literature and erotica, the main role of Little Sisters is as community center and information base. Any visitor to Vancouver who wants to experience the authentic gay atmosphere in this city needs to spend at least some time chatting and browsing here.
