Open since 1956, the 100,000 ft2 (9,000 m2) Vancouver Aquarium is Canada's first public aquarium and largest, with exhibits covering over 50,000 animals including fish, snakes, frogs, jellyfish, stingrays, dolphins and penguins. Arrive early to avoid the crowds.

Really well-done aquarium catering for the very young and the older as well. It seems to be a very popular destinations for moms with kids - at least when I visited on a weekday. Therefore, don't expect peace and quietness...
