The seafaring history of Vancouver is the focus of The Maritime Museum in Kitsilano. Exhibits include intricate carvings in whale tusk, period clothing, tools and diving apparatus. The main attraction is the St. Roch, a famous sailing vessel that braved the Northwest Passage and delivered supplies to the Arctic. Preserved in its entirety and visitors are allowed to board and explore the boat. Tickets are $11 for adults and $8.50 for children.
