I currently live about 1.5 hours from Asheville, NC and visit often. The city is very LGBT friendly. There are plenty of great restaurants, shopping, and a good music scene. If you're an outdoor enthusiast, Asheville is the perfect launchpad for hiking, climbing, cycling, whitewater paddling and SUP-boarding.

Came for a visit on a Friday in 2005 and bought my dream home on that following Sunday- This place is awesome.
