Established in 1927, the Highland Inn still to this day offers a little oasis of vintage hotel craft in a thriving area between Virginia-Highland and Little Five Points. The walls might be thin and the floors squeaky, but the Highland Ballroom on the ground floor makes up for all of that, with its regular concerts, dance parties and readings.
