Since 1983, Traxx has been the premier gay event-organizer for African-American men, though recently there has been an attempt to offer occasional lesbian-centric parties as well. It may no longer have its own venue, but the parties it throws at Club Rain and Club 708 are perfect opportunities to power through the night to throbbing beats among throngs of shirtless, impeccably sculpted men.
