From exhibition grounds to athletic fields to the sweeping green lawn it is today, Piedmont Park has gone through as many iterations as the city around it. It's a beautiful, sunny refuge where you'd least expect it and an important meeting place for all walks of life:  whether it's for dog play dates, romantic strolls along the lake or outdoor screenings. Both Gay Pride and Gay Black Pride are headquartered here.
