Don't let the new name B Ocean Resort confuse you. Although undergoing renovation, this is the old Yankee Clipper, built in the 50s to look like a cruise ship and where DiMaggio romanced Marilyn. Famous for its mermaid show in the Wreck Bar, it was a set for the 1999 "Analyze This". It still has the Wreck Bar (mermaid shows on weekends) and remains one of the few hotels directly on the beach. Children are welcome at the 487-room hotel, which features a playground and family rooms.
