Named for the Chicago Bears running back whose life and tragic death inspired the TV movie "Brian's Song," the Brian Piccolo Park is a 172-acre (70 ha) sports center with the only velodrome cycling track in Florida and one of only three in the southeastern US. The Brian Piccolo Road Course is open to both cyclists an in-line speed skaters. The park also has playing fields, basketball and tennis courts, biking/jogging paths, fishing, a disc golf course and geocaching.
