On the National Register of Historic Places, the Naval Air Station is the only military museum in the county, recalling its importance during WWII when it trained thousands of American and British pilots and crewmen, including George H.W. Bush. Most interesting for non-military buffs is the section on the mysterious Flight 19, which disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle in 1945.
