Swap Shop claims to be the world's biggest daily flea market with about 2,000 vendors. It covers eight acres, including an air-conditioned area, and is anchored by the old Thunderbird Drive-In Theater. The drive-in opened with one screen in 1963 and the flea market added three years later. The screens now number 14 and the Swap Shop has grown to include a farmer's market, carnival, car museum, food court - and crowds.
