Alta Cienega Motel stands out for three reasons: low rates, walking distance to clubs and Jim Morrison slept here - now and then between 1968 and 1970 with Room 32 being his favorite. Doors fans may want to make the pilgrimage - and add graffiti to the walls in #32 - but don't expect any frills.
