Bar Mattachine, named after the first gay rights activist organization in Los Angeles, bills itself as the first gay craft cocktail bar downtown. One of the cocktails is Henry Hay, honoring the Mattachine founder and made with with Rittenhouse 100-proof rye, Dolan Rouge Amargo Vallet Bark of Angostura and Boudier Maraschino liqueur, garnished with caramelized lemon oil and Maraska cherry.
