A longtime gay bar of many names, the leather/fetish Eagle LA began as the Shed in 1968 and morphed into the Outcast on the way to becoming the famous Gauntlet II from 1983 to 2005. This Eagle LA, opened in 2005, has no ties to an original Eagle LA in West Hollywood but does dedicate itself to preserving Eagle bar traditions. It hosts an annual Eagle LA Mr. Leather competition, fundraisers and cheap beer nights.
