Hot dogs (and hamburgers) come loaded at Pink's, which started with 10-cent chili dogs Mr. and Mrs. Pink sold out of a pushcart over 75 years ago. Near the corner of La Brea and Melrose, the landmark has 30 different kinds of hot dogs, the basic chili dog with mustard and onions now selling for $4.40. It has its own free parking with attendant and a celebrity following. Lore has it that Orson Wells once ate 18 at one sitting.
