The Hollywood Bowl, set in a natural amphitheater, is the largest outdoor amphitheater in the US where some of the world's biggest stars - including Judy Garland, the Beatles - have performed. The popular music venue is home to the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and the summer home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Playboy Jazz Festival. Several amphitheaters have been built on the site since the first musical performances in 1919, including two designed by Frank Lloyd Wright's son. The 2004 version has better acoustics. Dress is casual, but no bare feet, please.
