The Huntington Library with its Gutenberg Bible and over 400,000 rare books is also an impressive European and American art collection housed in a 1919 mansion and a 120-acre (57 ha) botanical garden with the largest Chinese garden outside of China and one of the largest and oldest outdoor collections of cacti and succulents. Its European masterpieces include Gainsborough's "The Blue Boy" and Lawrence's "Pinkie." In this century, actor Steve Martin gave $1 million for additions to the already impressive collection of American art. Work of William Morris, father of the Arts and Crafts movement, is represented.
