Zuma Beach, the outdoor set for "Bay Watch" and the last scene in "Planet of the Apes," is a broad strip of sand offering a slew of outdoor activities: surfing, kiteboarding, windsurfing, body surfing, bodyboarding, fishing, volleyball, walking and sunning. Off the Pacific Coast Highway at the far end of Malibu, It is easily accessible, even for wheelchairs, and has food stands in summer and plenty of parking.
