Affiliated with the Smithsonian Institution, History Miami at 101 W. Flagler serves up local history from prehistoric times to today's cultural diversity in a series of exhibitions and special events. It also offers city tours by foot, bike, boat and coach conducted by guides such as Dr. Paul George, a native Miamian who has been leading tours for 30 years. Check the museum's website for what's coming up. Museum admission is $7 for adults, $5 for children 6 to 12. Admission is free the second Saturday of the month. The non-member prices for tours ranges from $15 to $40.
