The Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) is the new museum on the block in Miami but also one of the oldest. Growing out of the Miami Art Museum, which grew out of the Center for the Fine Arts, the Perez opened in 2013 in a dramatic 200,000-square-foot space overlooking Biscayne Bay in Museum Park in downtown Miami. Designed by Herzog and de Meuron, the museum specializes in art of the 20th and 21st centuries. Not to miss is Verde, the Museum's waterfront restaurant and bar with locally inspired dishes and seating both inside and on the shaded veranda. Adult admission is $16.
